This year's Halloween costume? Pippi Longstocking. It's the most effort I've put into a costume in years. 'Effort' included the purchase of striped tights and knee socks (which always make me think of Sonya). And I'm very glad I had a costume this year. It came in handy for the two parties I attended (and had a fabulous time at).
