My mom and I both have, what one might consider, monumental birthdays this year. I'll tell you about mine when the time is right. And hers? The fact that it's monumental is all you need to know.
If I had some champagne, I'd raise a toast to Mum. But alas, I am at work, and only have a bottle of Dasani water. But what the heck, we can toast anyways.
Here's to many more years of: yarn shopping, definitely more shoe shopping, knitting until 2am and watching bad movies on cable, fantastic meals out, even better meals cooked at home, and evenings up on the deck with a glass of wine, watching the boats sail across the bay.
