THE ICY BLUE SCARF:

scarf

Materials:

Yarn:
1 - 50g skein of Gedifra Micro Chic (Shade 09)
1 - 50g skein of Gedifra Techno Hair Lungo (Shade 25)

Needles:
I used US #15 Clover Bamboo needles
You'll also need large yarn needles to weave in the ends

Pattern:
I experimented a little bit with the pattern while I was knitting to try and keep the edges from curling under. This is the pattern I liked best:

With yarn from each ball held together, cast on 10 stitches.
Row 1: P1, K1, P1, K4, P1, K1, P1
Row 2: P1, K1, P6, K1, P1
Repeat these 2 rows until scarf reaches desired length.

You should end up with a seed stitch border and stockinette in the middle.

The ends curl under on mine, because I kept changing the pattern while I was knitting. So I can't guarantee that the edges won't curl under. I may try making this scarf again just using the pattern above, to see if it helps with the curling. Though, this is a rather narrow scarf, so the curling doesn't bother me too much.

Inspiration for this scarf came from a display sweater at Imagiknit in San Francisco. It was made out of the same yarn combination, but in a different color. It was so soft and fuzzy, I couldn't help but buy some yarn to make a scarf.
