where i graduate to knitting hats

hat
Canon Powershot G2

Lessons learned from knitting my very first hat:

1. It is not a good idea to set your knitting down mid row, because you might end up doing a U-turn sort of thing, and start knitting on the wrong side, and you'll end up with a big hole. I will now always finish the row before setting my knitting down. Except in the event of some sort of emergency, like the house burning down.

2. While scary at first, ripping out 4 rows of 99 stitches to correct the aforementioned U-turn wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
