June 14, 2005 | Austin was bloody hot.
I survived Austin in June. Barely. I returned with a pretty nasty cold, which I'm still not completely recovered from.
But I did survive jury duty. I hacked and coughed my way through the selection process, and then near the end, one of the lawyers finally dismissed me. I wanted to run up and personally thank him, but that might have been considered inappropriate, so I opted for leaving the courtroom as fast as humanly possible.
The next survival hurdle? Moving...

the seats at SFO are really nice looking. too bad they aren't that comfy. i love taking pictures of them too!
I have jury duty next week. I don't have the moving problem yet.
My best advice on moving is pack a roll of toilet paper in your purse. It is amazing how often the painters, cleaners, former occupants seem to take off with it.
