I'm starting to freak out about BlogHer a little. Which, honestly, is a bit lame considering that I'm not actually DOING ANYTHING while I'm there. I just need to sit quietly, listen to people discuss interesting things, and snap a few photos. There is absolutely no reason for me to be losing my proverbial marbles right now.
But this morning my brain asked a seemingly innocuous question, "What shoes are you going to wear?" Sadly, I've pondered this question for most of the day, and I've come up with a rousing I DON'T KNOW.
The fact that I still have a couple of days to make this utterly important decision is slightly comforting.
However, if you see a barefoot girl with a camera roaming around the Hyatt, know that she's hasn't toally lost it, and you'd make her ever so happy if you stopped to say hi.
UPDATE: Due to 2 requests, I bring you Shoe Indecision '06. I apologize for the slightly boring selection, but black goes with everything. Oh, and I'm totally wearing jeans.

I voted, hope my pick wins!
I just came accross your site, and love every bit of your writing! Hope you don't mind me linking to you. Drop by my place sometime for a chat! :o)
The grip fasts are the coolest, but you have cute toes so I voted for the open toe sandals.
hooray for democracy! i voted for the bad ass grip fast mary janes, and though they're bad ass, they're not kicking ass. oh well. i do like the cons...
I love voting! My 2nd choice (the converse is winning) and my 1st choice C is 2nd right now-too cool! Which shoe will win...will she wear the winner...will there be more polls in the future. Best of luck with your choice - I say go for comfort because it's hard to make friends when your feet are feeling unhappy!
I'm leaving it until the last possible moment tomorrow. The bigger problem for me is that I want to take my laptop, at least to Day 1 because some of the sessions are more technical, but I can't figure out what bag to put it in since I don't want to carry more than one, but my laptop bag is horrible (most are - or the ones that are nice aren't big enough or whatever). Also, I may have complicated the clothing question by acquiring a very expensive, but completely unproven, pair of jeans (there's a question about wearing jeans? I didn't even question that decision - am I wrong?!).
I like JC's idea - post the finalists :)
Another blogger I was just reading was pondering whether or not to wear jeans to BlogHer.
Decisions, decisons!
what you need to do is narrow it down and post the finalists so we can vote! :)
