You know those Alegria Paloma Mary Janes that I was gushing about? Well the Alegria Shoe Shop has some of the more "fun" varieties on sale right now (Ericka, I think you need another pair!), and I couldn't not tell you about it.

And, for those of you that are still reading (thank you!), I am not intentionally hiding from my blog. Part of it is me being honest-to-goodness busy and part of it is me just not knowing what to do here any more. I was thinking that changing the format of the blog slightly (more entries on the main page) might make me more inclined to make shorter posts more often. But, it then occurred to me that a lot of people read blogs in a reader now, and it maybe doesn't matter what the main page looks like or how much is there?

I've always told myself that I do this for me, which is true, but out of curiosity, what do you guys think? Do you read your blogs in a reader? Do you care what the main page looks like? And while we're on the subject, is there anything you want to read about here that maybe I've neglected in the past couple of years? More cooking? More knitting? More shoes? Photography stuff? More personal stuff? I seem to be having trouble figuring out what to put here, so if you've got any suggestions, I'd really appreciate them. What do you want to see here? What do you want to know? Why do you keep coming back? (Frankly, at this point, if this wasn't my blog, I'm not sure I'd still have it in my reader.)

I realize this may come off as me fishing for compliments or asking for some sort of reassurance, and I assure you it's not. (If you want to tell me my blog sucks, then do it, because, um, right now, I kind of think it does). This is me genuinely asking for your help, which is not something I'm very good at, but I'm at a point where I need it. So, please, fire away my friends. What's on your mind?
