I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that today, THERE IS SUN. The sky is bright and blue and it's absolutely fabulous. I had to wear sunglasses on my way to work this morning. I haven't had to do that in months. Also, I'm wearing pink today, which is almost UNHEARD OF. My friends, it is a monumental day.

Another notable thing about today, my Mum turns another year wiser. I will be wishing her a proper happy birthday when she comes to visit on Monday. She's taking a small vacation in Santa Cruz, and we're going to my favorite sushi restaurant for lunch. I'm excited! I'm also hoping the sun will be out for the occasion. If it is, I just might have to wear pink again.
