Imagine dunking your head in a bowl of pudding and then trying to breathe. That's how I've felt since Friday. I've managed to catch the head cold that will not GO AWAY.
Being sick is always kind of weird to me. I basically spend all day on the sofa napping or watching the food network. Then around 10:30 or so, I get up and go sleep some more in the bed. Which seems kind of odd. I've spent most of the day doing nothing but blowing my nose, I shouldn't be tired. But I always am. I suppose I wouldn't actually leave the bed if there were a TV in the bedroom, but there's not. So I take over the couch, and the television. I've spent most of last night and almost all of today catching up on episodes of Gilmore Girls (much to the boyfriend's chagrin).
If I don't feel better tomorrow, I'll probably end up finishing season five, and then I'll HAVE to go buy season six. I don't think I can stand watching another episode of Sandra "add vanilla to get rid of that store bought taste" Lee.
I agree with She Likes Purple completely, having just powered through seasons 1-7 of Gilmore Girls.
My boyfriend just gave me his cold, so I'm back to watching Buffy.
Gawd Sandra Lee scares me. Last time I watched, there was so.much.PURPLE! that I almost yakked. And none of her stuff looks particularily edible. Ick!!!

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one to find Sandra Lee really strange, and her food kinda nasty.
Oh, Gilmore Girls. Seasons five and six are good. Season seven will break your heart a million times over.

do you think that Sandra Lee has tissues that match her pajamas & tea cup when she's sick?
i wonder if she would find some festive way to accessorize all of her medication.
perhaps she'd have a nyquil cocktail with a long straw so that you could sip while laying in bed....
im sorry yer sick. there's light at the end of the tunnel...i'm getting there.
