So I've been doing this "blogging" thing for almost 8 years, and I've babbled on about a lot of stuff I like (and stuff I don't like). About two years ago, I was all about knee socks. Purely by accident, I had discovered that when it's cold out, wearing them under jeans helped keep me warm. I became obsessed. It was a cold winter, and I was trying to stay toasty without turning on the heat in the apartment too much (I was unemployed and I needed something to focus on). I wrote two or three entries about different knee socks I had worn, one of them with a lot of praise for Ozone socks. They make all sorts of feet and leg coverings, and I was particularly happy with their knee socks, so I told the world.
About 3 weeks ago, I received an e-mail from someone at Ozone thanking me for my kind words, and wondering if I'd be interested in a pair of socks as a further thank you? How awesome is that?! So I checked out the selection online and picked out a pair. They arrived today (and are pictured above) with a thank you note.
I've never had this happen before, and I have to say, it was kind of cool. However, I promise you, I will never give anything I don't like a positive review just in case they eventually want to send me free stuff. That would so not be cool. And we're all about cool 'round here. Except in winter. When we wear knee socks to keep warm.
