Is it just me, or does it seem like lately the internet needs a hug? (Or maybe I need a hug and I'm projecting this on the entire internet?) I keep reading things that make me want to reach through the monitor and hug the author, which is kind of impossible. Perhaps I'll start hugging my iMac instead. (Though there's still that whole not hugging me back thing, unless it sprouted adorable robot arms which I think would probably freak me out more than anything else. BUT I DIGRESS.)
The other night the boy-fiancee fell asleep on the couch (as he is wont to do), and after about an hour woke up and mumbled something. When I informed him that he had been asleep for a while he responded with, "It's okay, that was just a nappetizer." Which is apparently the nap you take before you actually get up and go to sleep in a proper bed. It's kinda cute and actually fairly accurate. However, I think I'll hold off on submitting it to the urban dictionary for now.
In hair-related news, I decided that Tuesday at 9:45pm was as perfectly rational time to dye my hair and 45 minutes later, I was a brunette (thanks Garnier Nutrisse "Dark Brown"). So far, the response has been good. When it starts fading and/or growing out too much, I may make the leap to black.
Also, I'm still going to remind you about this:
