Dial a Cliche

\n\n\nI hate to get all cliche on your ass, but you know what? There are seriously not enough hours in the day. Work has been busy, which is good, but still doesn't abate any \"kicked off the island\" fears I have. Oh, and then there was that whole not having internet for a week and a half. It's a miracle we survived. I did end up switching to Comcast and that whole 5 times faster than DSL thing? TOTALLY TRUE. More on this later, perhaps. Also, I've become a little bit obsessed with ordering prescription eyeglasses online. So far I've received 4 pairs and I've got 2 more on the way. I'm planning on writing a whole rambling long post about this at some point (there may even be diagrams!), but tonight is so not the night for that to happen. Then there's also that whole boyfiance riding in the AIDS ride, and I've been trying to help him with the asking for money part. He's doing a little fundraiser thing tomorrow and I spent most of tonight making some food for it (and making dinner and doing laundry - I'm exhausted). And today's icing on the cake? I found out my cholesterol is back up (golly gee, getting old is great). I celebrated by eating a donut. \n\nSo yeah, I'm still here, I'm busy as heck, and I have actual content that might be informative and a tiny bit interesting on the way!
