That cats? They're getting along, sort of. We're still keeping the kitten locked up when we're not home, but while we're there they've got full run of the place. And boy are they running...back and forth between the living room and the office or the bedroom. Sometimes Miles is chasing Monk, and sometimes it's the other way around. We've had to break up a couple of small fights, but other than that, they're getting used to each other. I think it'll take a while before we can leave them alone unsupervised, but right now, it's nice to have the guest room door open and see how they react to each other (most of the time it's hilarious - I need to take some video).
And now for something not cat related:
I had grand plans this past weekend to make my Mom's recipe for navy bean and ham soup (I'm pretty sure it's share-worthy, but I wanted to test it out the way I have it typed up), but it just didn't happen. Maybe this coming weekend. I did manage to make some killer garlic bread. It's the perfect thing to go with all that soup you want to make right now...
